Meet Mrs. Lockhart
Name: Kristin Lockhart
School: Atoka Elementary
Room: 509/Orange Hallway
Welcome to 3rd grade!
My name is Kristin Lockhart, and I will be your child’s teacher during the 2019-2020 academic year. This is my 10th year of teaching, and I’ve loved every minute of it. I taught 3rd grade with Shelby County Schools at Dexter Elementary for the first five years and this will be my fifth year at Atoka Elementary where I will continue to teach 3rd grade. I’ve been married for eight years. Travis and I have two children, Nora Jane (Kindergarten) and Nash (2 years old). I love spending time with my family, but I am excited and ready for this school year!!
I believe that when the teacher, parent, and student work together, a successful school year is inevitable. In advance, “THANK YOU” for the important role you and your student will play in this great 3rd grade year! It is a privilege to be your child’s teacher this year. I look forward to working with you as your child builds upon the skills he/she has already mastered, as well as learning many new things this year! We will ALL have a fabulous year!
A few of my favorite things:
Hobby: scrapbooking, taking pictures, crafting, shopping
Place to Eat: Huey's, Chick-fil-A, Taco Bell
Places to Shop: Target, Teachers Pay Teachers, Jane.com
School supplies: flair pens, ink joy pens
School: Atoka Elementary
Room: 509/Orange Hallway
